He's Got Cojones!

I shared this entry on my business blog and decided to share the story here on the personal side.  Each day I post an 'Image of the Day'.  I try to post weddings, portraits and even pet portraits.  However, with this I hesitate to say 'pet' photography as I personally have no desire to have one of these as a pet!  I must admit this little guy did amuse and even scared me a wee bit.

In his eagerness to find food he jumped on my leg, which I started shaking my leg and screaming "NO, NO, NO, NO!!"  He wasn't giving up that easily, as he jumped from my leg into my open door of the truck!  He then ran and grabbed a small white bag sitting on the passenger seat next to my camera.  Again I'm screaming "NO, NO, NO!"  My voice becoming shrill with each NO.   And I imagine it must have been a sight to see.

In the white bag (which he couldn't get out) was half a donut.  Once he was out of my truck, and I was safely IN my truck with the door closed, I tossed him the donut in pieces.  Not that I'm really sure a donut is good for this guy but, I certainly wasn't going to eat it after he had manhandled the bag and well, he was rather entertaining from the safety of my truck!  Just keep him off my leg please!!!

So without further ado here is the 'Image of the Day'.

  3. This story reminded me of my grandfather. He used to have a pet RED squirrel. He would feed it peanuts. As a little girl I would get to pet it. Today... I would have the same reaction you did. LOL
